@interfluidity It is well possible i was wrong.
The differences between germany and the us, relevant because we have less killing with guns in schools, would be to the best of my knowledge:
- easier to qualify to get a gun
- not as much registration (you do that on paper, right?)
- can leave accessible (that one seemed more relevant to school shootings specifically)
- maybe more suffering in schools?

Cultural differences may be relevant, but i would doubt those alone do much.

Thermopapier ist Sondermüll, wie ich höre. Ausgeblichen ist es nutzlos. Und man bekommt es dauernd aufgedrängt. Mehr Alltagspoesie in so wenigen Worten kann ich mir nicht vorstellen :-D

In that case, i guess it comes down to comparing the effort to the expected gain in precision. Compared to people with for example dementia voting or intentional voter fraud, of course. Can't say what i think without comparison :-)

Since you cannot determine who cast the vote as long as anonymity is given, you'd have to give up anonymity to do this. I'd say that would be an unacceptable price.

Technisch bedingt wird es ein bis zwei Tage dauern, bis die Werbung, die du siehst, umgestellt ist auf Sparschweine mit "Ich bin eine deutsche Sau, ich krieg nie genug von deinem Geld".

Schon interessant, was für Interpretationen möglich sind, wenn Werbung automatisiert ausgespielt wird. Algorithmen können nicht nur in negativen Arten biased sein ;-)
