@chris__martin That, and more. As someone who does not use a smartphone, i can attest that hardware (smartphone) use becomes more and more mandatory aka non-voluntary too.

I forego some things in favour of keeping myself free from smartphones, but i reckon i will not be able to keep that up indefinitely. And i think the hardware, with its implications, does make a difference to software use in general.

@twizzay I'm mainly worried about LLM shenanigans. If they train some spicy autocorrect, i would expect deviously hard to detect errors instead of quirks that one can learn and deal with. Apart from the absurd cpu load that woud probably take.

Here, i already heard fears about the food prices rising, but not that big US industries may fail. So did i just sample too few us news, or is there something unusual going on?
