I love how weird water is. And the ultra-weird behavior of monolayers of water in tiny cavities is relevant to #geology, #biology, and (maybe) future battery tech.

@allochthonous I love the idea that water is stretched so in aquamarines that it's in a quantum state. Mind-blowing.

I googled aquamarine and quantum. When I first found out, I did this google in google scholar. I recently read that ssome researchers found this quality in stones they pickup at a swap meet! Heh. @allochthonous
