Между Россией 100 лет назад и сегодняшней больше различий, чем сходства.

Начиная с самого базового уровня - демографического.

Тогда - страна с быстрорастущим молодым населением, высокой рождаемостью и высокой ранней смертностью. Сейчас - стареющая страна, депопуляция семимильными шагами (и ещё добавили и продолжат)

Тогда - глубоко аграрная страна, сейчас - очень урбанизированная, с мобильным населением, и процесс быстро продолжается.

Тогда - тотальная неграмотность. Сейчас - у меня нет данных, но, думаю, из крупных (более 100 млн населения) стран мира Россия имеет самое образованное население. При этом население очень связанное информационно, находящееся в процессе постоянного обмена мнениями.

Тогда - полный снос экономики и строящаяся с нуля новая, сейчас - таки устойчиво работающий рынок, с высокими рисками, но в каких-то отношениях довольно свободный (по современным меркам).

Тогда - идеологически заряженные массы людей, запрос на перемены. Мощная, вселенского размаха идеология. Харизматичные пассионарные вожди. Сейчас - уставшее население, мечтающее все вернуть как было. Вся идея - назад в прошлое. За пассионарность отвечает смешной Шаман. Во главе - блеклые старики, из которых даже непонятно, кто там кем рулит и чего хотят, кроме как тоже чтобы все осталось как есть (или стало как было).

Тогда - профпригодные тираны, начинавшие с точки полного отсутствия ресурсов и создавшие - ценой миллионов жизней - с нуля армию и индустрию. Сейчас - чуваки, способные сделать убыточным Газпром. Тоже своего рода талант. На что они меняют жизни - кажется, даже они сами не знают.

Тогда - возможность дать входящим и соседним территориям новые проекты, новые смыслы (цена не была очевидна), сейчас... даже говорить не о чем.

Каковы основания для сравнения? Что те и другие нам не нравятся и легко убивают? Ну, да, но убивают и гильотина и гипертония, но процессы, прогнозы и стратегии противодействия в этих случаях разные.

Наше чувство бессилия и абсурда? Тут согласна, но одно и то же чувство ещё не значит, что ситуации одинаковы.

Кстати, вы уверены, что 100 лет назад лично вы испытывали бы то же самое, а не были бы очарованы новыми идеями и планов громадьем? И были бы в совершенно другом состоянии. Сейчас мы знаем, куда смотреть, какова цена, а тогда?

Это я не к тому, что все будет хорошо.

Может, будет ещё хуже. Тогда не было таких инструментов тотальной пропаганды. Не было таких возможностей контроля и слежки. В конце концов, тогда Россия не имела возможности уничтожить весь мир с собою вместе, а сейчас имеет.

Все будет никто не знает как.

Это знаменитые лекции И.П. Павлова "Об уме вообще, о русском уме в частности" и менее знаменитая, но очень глубокая по содержанию статья Н.А. Бердяева "Духи русской революции". Это и про восемь специфических черт русского ума, и про умные и глупые нации.

И.П. Павлов в своей лекции выразил надежду на здравый смысл и на то, что ум возобладает.

Н.А. Бердяев, будучи религиозным философом, понимая, что русская мысль молода и на тот момент едва преодолела столетний возраст, возлагал надежду на веру.

К чему привел Россию русский ум, мы наблюдаем последние почти сорок лет.

Возможность свободно мыслить привела к практически бескровному распаду СССР и освобождению народов. Свобода мысли, по, возможно, не самому удачному выражению М.С. Горбачева, сформировала пир духа. Ограничение свободы мысли, в свою очередь, привело к войне, которая поставит окончательную точку в истории безУМной России.

Проблемы со свободой мысли в России всегда пытались компенсировать особым способом, посредством особой субстанции — безУМной дУХОвности. В том смысле, что она уже не предполагала наличие ума, но еще гарантировала наличие ушей.

Но при этом в России вовсю велись ожесточенные споры об отличии российской духовности от бездуховности англосаксов. Сложно сказать, к чему привели бы эти споры высоких спорящих сторон, если бы их не рассудила сама жизнь.

БезУМие вполне логично привело страну к бездУХОвности. И процесс, что называется, пошел, и пошел не просто в среде силовиков в отношении понаехавших, а прямо в одухотворенный таким образом народ.

Как говорится, лиха беда начало. А вот что это — еще начало или уже конец, пока неясно. Но совершенно точно, что это и конец прогресса, и конец человечности. Заметьте, это не я сказал.
