computer has decided to go rose-tinted today. while i appreciate this on a metaphorical level i rly want it to display grays as grays again. i've checked colour settings, now running win repair tings that take hrs. problem is just in menus. images get displayed fine. any ideas?

Seems like a broken cable or connection. Try unplugging and plugging again.
