This is embarrassing but I still don't know how to follow someone on Mastodon.

If I have been given the handle xxx.yyy/@zzz, and I'm using the web interface at mathstodon.xyz, how do I follow?

I've read tutorials that say things like enter xxx...zzz into the search box but it brings up nothing.
