@helgztech@fosstodon.org I picked up emacs after reaching the limits of vim, it wasn't about doing it the hard way, but the realization I'll be using it almost every day for many more years and every tweak that made me a little bit more productive would pay off in the long term. Even when it seems like that isn't true, which it sometimes does, it's still a lot of fun to configure emacs the way I like it.
