My favorite thing about Mastodon is when you post an image and someone passive aggressively responds with alt text for the image.
Truly a one of a kind social media experience. 😇
@carnage4life i've had that experience. it's puzzling + tedious.
that said, if adding alt text were easier, i'd do it for every image. it's multiple additional steps

It seems like a decent thing for someone to do, why do you find it puzzling or tedious? I guess it's mildly passive aggressive, but also useful, so 🤷♂️
