If you are angry that TV or newspapers aren't covering something that should be covered, or are covering something doesn't need to be covered, one thing you can do is not give them your money. I haven't bought a paper or paid a cable bill since 9/11, and if I click on a link that tells me to disable my ad-blocker, I go somewhere else. It's not difficult.
