Whatever platform a #church uses to stream the Sunday service, an important part is the chat before and afterwards. The digital host (aka digital usher) creates and maintains relationships. It's hard to be the tech person and the digital host simultaneously, and yet in small parishes, the number of volunteers is limited. So what does your #parish do?

@HMinchin We use YouTube to stream because the quality is better and the stream is easy to find both live and later. We did a virtual coffee hour on Zoom while we couldn't gather in person. We kept that going and had a plan to integrate it into live coffee hour when we returned, but dropped it after a few months of no one participating. Too much effort for consistent zero attendance.
