do you believe the covid-19 pandemic is “over”?
@ericajoy i consume news from spain, mexico, and usa. last week, the spanish news site quoted someone discussing how there is no pandemic, no need to care about infection; after all people are probably vaccinated. 🙄 this week, the mexican news site said covid numbers are up again.
does becoming endemic - chronically present, like hiv or mers - mean the pandemic is over?

@spaghettisquash @ericajoy this is my question as well. The medical professionals I talk to are telling me that what we have right now is in the US in terms of infections is pretty much what things will look like from now on. There is no more "waiting until this is over."
