@PJ_Evans @mekkaokereke She was touting the support of the Cheneys and other Republicans. If that's not dashing to the center, I don't know what it. The whole "bipartisan advisory board" thing - what would you call that?

@johnmark @PJ_Evans @mekkaokereke you can get more specific about policy points, too. For instance, she (and Biden) eagerly embraced a racist and xenophobic immigration policy, she ran on increased exploitation of fossil fuels, she said the big difference btw her and Biden would be that she’d put a Republican in her cabinet, etc etc etc

@mkranz @johnmark @PJ_Evans @mekkaokereke

The vote count post nailed it. The orange man got basically the same number of votes he always got. This time, Democrats voted less. And then, here we are. We did not vote, we gave it away to republicans.

Are you sure it was Democrats who failed to vote? The numbers I'm seeing say that "Never Trump" Republicans who crossed party lines to vote for Biden in 2020 just stayed home this election.

@antares @locksmithprime @mkranz @PJ_Evans @mekkaokereke That sounds right. I think Kamala thought (hoped?) that would repeat in 2024. It did not :(
