It's nice that pixelfed.social has opened up registrations again. :) Moving there.
I don't like the website address, tbh. My previous host had more interesting domain name. Alas, the instance was as good as dead, because Pixelfed kind of fails at social at the moment. This will probably change over the time, I think. But... :)
@SeventhMagpie they just released app support... give it some time and it will catch all the others fediverse players at least.

@arteteco App support is good, but inability to communicate with people is a show stopper.
Finding people is impossible, unless you're on the same instance or already know the UID. Liking and commenting on existing posts is impossible, unless you're on the same instance.
Which kind of defeats the idea of federation.
Social is for communication, not for simply putting stuff out there. :)
P.S.: Even browsing tags is impossible, unless you already know how, as there are no shortcuts anywhere.
