Things I wish I knew:
Given that humans have been using fire only recently, how well adapted is the healing process to burns?
Is there a ranked list of injuries, sorted by "most effective healing process"?
Or is there, to the body, after all, not a lot of difference between a cut and a burn?
Hmm..
I guess top priority is always survival.
I know for example that the skin of cats and dogs heals way faster than the underlying tissue.
I'd imagine that is because a trail of blood attracts predators.
Hmm..

@fireglow Top priority is usually reproduction, survival is consequent (you can reproduce better if you live longer).
In general fire burns haven't been much of a force in natural selection in the past thousands years I guess... compared to the many treats we faced, this was not only low priority, but also highly expensive to solve.

We are not that bad in the healing process though, all things considered. I don't know whether they heal faster than cuts though...
