So you have a server at home, and you're on the road. You find that your server is offline, but nobody is at home to troubleshoot. Your modem, router, or server probably just need to be rebooted, but because your server is down, you can't remote in to trigger a reboot.

How do people solve this problem?

Ban Facebook and Google too? Their data collection is so much more powerful. Never seen TikTok scripts anywhere while most apps and sites send your personal data to FB and Google.

So here's a #fediverse #idea that probably already exists. How about making a #decentralised, #openSource #shopping website, much like #Amazon or #eBay, where people can sell and Auction items, write descriptions, leave reviews and customer feedback, and initiate returns. I get that the financial side is quite hard to deal with, as well as in forcing rules surrounding returns and such, but I'm sure it could be done somehow. If anybody knows of such a project, please let me know.

Two planets. Opposite skies.

It's not terribly pretty but all of this is free.

We have this many forks because frame and wheel manufacturers have used zillions of competing sizing standards over the years. It's even worse with seat posts, the differences there can only be detected by calipers or "trying to fit it in" #thinkingutopia in a perfect world should all parts be intercompatible??
