Da gusto empezar el día así.

It feels good starting the day like this.

Hoy he:
- acabado molido y quebrantado.

This is the way RENFE (Spanish railway public company) treats cyclists. Just two bikes per train, but this time 50% of the anchors are broken...

I took this picture when I was visiting New York City back in 2019/12.
Before the trip I had watch a documentary about Jackson Heights neighborhood that left me impressed. How could it be a community where 167 languages are spoken? I definitely had to have a walk through those streets... and so it was. I took the subway from Manhattan up to 74th street Broadway. Then I walked through the main avenue (Roosevelt Avenue) where I could see so many different types of people and businesses. The subway was very noisy. It was freezing those days (-14ºC). I think that was the reason why my camera stopped working. Luckily I was carrying two of them, the 120mm Rolleiflex was still working.

Here it is.
Of course the result would improve just by filing those edges and then polishing to mirror... That will happen some other day.

Making a 16mm cone key for tightening the cones of the rear wheel of my .
Instead of buying a default cone key from the bike shop I rather make it myself from a standard wrench. Why? Because bike tools are made from poor quality materials and expensive.

1.2mm plate.
Firstable I add a bit of metal on the edge. I use 150Hz pulse frequency, 20A background current, 35A peak current.
Then I change to 49A peak current to fill in that hole.
I'd like to improve the result.

Once the rainy days are over this is the result...
Disassembling and cleaning time. I wouldn't like the whole drive train to be trashed. Too much abrasives around.

Hoy toca soldar tuercas, muchas. Pero sobretodo toca mejorar esos cordones...
