#Atari Lynx 1 status update:

* All electrolytic capacitors replaced
* Screen wired and functional
* Screen *re* wired and still functional (sigh - always check physical fit before soldering, Josh)
* DC jack replaced
* Power circuit components replaced (Zener, MOSFET, 2x 3906 transistors)
* Screen fit tested

The "LCD mask" is a terrible fit so I'm going to opt not to install it (sorry Pete). Instead I will paint the silver metal of the screen black so it won't show badly through the glass.

Final steps left:

* Reconnect speaker
* Reconnect battery holder
* Replace the front LCD window glass
* Get the gorram thing back together again 😬

Old plastic window is out. Good old hot air station on 250F. Now to clean the adhesive

New screen is in. Leaving the protection film on for now

Heat gently with hot air station. Reform with tweezers. Heal with styrene glue

@baldengineer Thanks 😊 It's a bit out of round, TBH, but I think installing the screw will straighten it out. Might hot the post again and run the screw in to fix the shape.

@48kRAM Yeah, maybe the screw will help spread the heat a bit? I dunno, sounds good.
