#DailyBloggingChallenge (17/25)
Every time one learns a new piece of information it is hard to unsee the newly seen.
Have always been fascinated with making maps and now with #OpenStreetMap I can contribute to a noble cause. With the data structure that they propose, one doesn't see the world as is anymore though as a relation to their concept.
This can both be seen as a curse and a blessing. A curse, as in one is in an area that cannot be quickly touched up, because either one is missing the tools or memory (brain memory) and thereby creating a constant itch for the unforeseen future. Or a blessing, when one comes to an area that one can just marvel at the completeness of the data and one has the honor to be knit picky in finding missing data at the location.
One is constantly in this state of sway (imagine water being put into motion in a close container), one knows eventually harmony will be achieved, though till then one will need to combat the ebbs and flows of data and mental fortitude.
