#DailyBloggingChallenge (21/25)
Tasks fall into one of these four quadrants:
| | urgent | not urgent |
| ---------------------- | ---------- | ----------------- |
| important | Q1 | Q2 |
| not important | Q3 | Q4 |
aka
- Q1: now
- Q2: later/next
- Q3: next/later
- Q4: never
The tasks that are criticized the most are the ones that fall into Q2 and Q3. The priority of Q2 and Q3 depends on your state of being.
Are you currently in the funk/ashes? Then give Q3 priority over Q2.
Are you currently getting lots of tasks done, but they are not fulfilling your psychological needs? Then give Q2 priority over Q3.
We are constantly switching between these two states of priority. As we know life is a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs.
A sine curve (on a x, y axis) can explain it better, since it is divided into periods. The trick is to have various tool sets for each period. When things are positive (y), then use the one tool set. And when things are negative (y), then use the other tool set.
As the periods go towards infinite, the tool sets will stay constant (as defined in #JavaScript), but the tools will change.
