The company was close to bankruptcy in 2019. In 2.5y they hit a valuation of 1 Trillion USD mid April(!!)
How on earth would that be actual growth. Its a car company that is plagued by recalls.
I see maybe 1 Tesla a week in one of the richest cities of Germany.
Bubble I tell you.

Yes you city has more Teslas. Thats not the point here.
The point is for that valuation to hold true it would mean that they are essentially have to replace every German car in existence if you compare valuation.
BMW is at a mere 100 Billion.

VW is 230$ Billion, Mercedes 113$ Billion. These two companies own an insane amount of car brands.
They produce and sell a fuck ton more cars and together still don't make half the value that Tesla is seen at. Common.

Ok limiting replies I really don't need to hear how many Teslas you see. I'll stick to sales numbers next time.
The point remaining that output and input is at a huge discrepancy here, meaning some people are betting here, this it not reflecting actual reality right now.

@timonsku The high share price could be due to the fact that in some areas there are a lot of teslas, and in those same areas people are much more likely to own a significant amount of shares in companies. i.e. people in tech hubs both tend to see a lot of teslas and have money to invest so they're likely to think it's a good investment?
