We used to call this kind of person a "cafeteria Christian," just picking out what they like and leaving the rest behind.
The most intellectually weak and fraudulent position of all. Not worth two sentences, much less a whole article.
Odd. It's like saying I want all of the rules and baggage, but none of the savior.
