🔴 **Renewables account for 24.5% of EU energy use in 2023**

_“In 2023, 24.5% of gross final energy consumption in the EU came from renewable sources, up by 1.4 percentage points compared with 2022. This share is 18 percentage points (pp) short of meeting the 2030 target (42.5%), which would require an annual average increase of 2.6 pp from 2024 to 2030.”_

@bibliolater its going to slow now and i think the reason is the new right wing movement doesnt want to invest in renewables because they want to invest in nucleair
