Spot price for coffee is $3.6/lb or 14c per double shot.
1lb of roasted coffee is about $20 USD retail.
Meanwhile, on average a coffee farm worker earns between $1-3 USD per day. They could never afford to buy a coffee at Starbucks. I don't think it's the tarrifs that make coffee unaffordable.

@rs_hole Tariffs will make them more expensive than they already are.
