#Goodmorning from overcast Linköping. Today: clear up after party, drive home, #boardgames. And you?

@mrundkvist Some emails. May work a bit on an encyclopedia entry about the «great replacement» conspiracy theory.

The GRT shows a touching belief in the idea that Muslim immigrants would predominantly become progressive voters.

@mrundkvist Many versions quickly get to the point where they at some point will show their true, totalitarian colors. (Projection much?)

@asbjorndyrendal
But it's true that capitalists don't care about the workers' skin colour as long as they accept low wages. So there is an actual conflict within the right.

Uneducated man whose ancestors have lived in the same rural province for 1000 years: "I am a proud blue-eyed Germanic man who has an innate greater value than the immigrants!"

Capitalist employer: "Um, no, sorry, you're just someone replaceable who can't offer a competitively low wage demand."

This argument lies at the heart of the discussions in the US concerning H-1B visas for migrants. Corporations are able to maximise profits and keep a permanently unsecure workforce that can be removed easily if they are found to be not sufficiently obsequious.

There used to be this thing called "international worker solidarity", but nobody seems to remember quite what it was about.
