How to correct temperature drift in measurements?
Small brain: Use a huge temperature correction lookup table.
Big brain: Use a formula with fitted parameters.
Galaxy brain: Design another component with a negative temperature coefficient just enough to cancel the original part's positive temperature coefficient. #electronics
@bit0fun@qoto.org The best execution of this method I've ever seen was a Linear application note by analog guru Jim Williams. He needed temperature-compensated some diodes, so he selected a 4-diode array, wired one as a heater and another as a sensor with an opamp for regulation.
