I don't want to alarm anyone, but planting season is right around the corner.
Suppliers are struggling to meet demand (they aren't meeting it). Fertilizer prices are going to the moon.
Let's go.

tfw I started to make my own seeds last year.

>Fertilizer prices are going to the moon.
tfw I started to make my own mineral extractions from bacteria enhanced batch.
:FeelsWowMan:

@mangeurdenuage @Leaflord i haven't gathered much here (fava beans and a few tomatoes) but growing stuff from last years seeds feels really nice.

btw, trying out your hint with the wood chippings :)

@bonifartius @Leaflord
>trying out your hint with the wood chippings
:nice: Remember, over 1cm the woodchips will favor fungi development which will make your soil acid, which is perfect for trees and bushes, at 1cm and under it will favor bacteria/cyanobacteria which will make your soil alkaline perfect for most veggies. Note: too small (dust) it won't be beneficial as the type of bacteria that will develop will be anaerobic bacteria, plus it won't drain water and won't let the soil breath.

@mangeurdenuage @Leaflord i actually remembered that part, you send me a pdf of a book about it a while ago :) It's "flakes" from cutting wood (with plant oil used on the chain). seem to be a good size?

@bonifartius @Leaflord It is.
>(with plant oil used on the chain
Very :nice:

>seem to be a good size?
The pieces need to not be too flat they need to be slightly thicker and not always have the same form, otherwise you might have issue with drainage. But it will mulch anyway ;)

haha, yes, mulch will definitively help the earth here to hold water and nutrients a bit longer, it is mostly sand-fraction :)
