i think _if_ someone wants to take action it has to be clandestine "direct action" though that has even more risk than demonstrations.

demonstrations are tolerated only if they are in line with the un-official goals anyway. note that imho the difference between now and e.g. the huge demonstrations in the 60s or even 80s is that we are under complete surveillance now. your phone is be tracked, you will be on cctv, etc. you can't hide in the masses because of facial recognition.

dystopia is now.
