the old grey boxy "productivity" style was peak UI and nobody can change my mind.
"material" design (and other new styles) is _so_ bad it isn't even funny. i'm convinced it was developed to actively make people dumb and enable dark patterns.
@bonifartius I miss Win98 and OS8 style

@Sophistifunk i used win2k as teen, i think it was really nice for a windows. it was a no bs ui, compared to newer things.
