earlier i tried to remember why someone ™️ blocked me on here.
i think it was because i said something along the lines of "calling jordan peterson a nazi is bullshit".
so i got blocked for defending someone who from my point of view is humanist to the core and stands by it. he attacks the favorite ideological ideas of people, not the being. he is for sure not a flawless human, having quite a bunch of demons himself. judging by things he says, he does try his best at being good though.
really is telling more about the blocker than the blocked, isn't it?
@bonifartius People who make free use of extremely negative or radical political labels should be more welcoming to opposing opinions and discussion.
I find scenarios like these, where individuals are unwilling to provide reasoning for their claims and instead opt to blocking others immediately, particularly disappointing.
@Unit they can even use these labels, i don't care. that they _expect_ their idiocy isn't fought is what pisses me off.
they really expect that others just stand by and watch while they call a psychotherapeut who very likely has literally saved lives just by relentlessly pushing _real_ positive agency - instead of the progressive "it's great that you are unfixably broken" acceptance bullshit - is called all sorts of insults.
the fucking gall.
