@Moon this is my pet peeve! ecotards flying around the globe for bullshit but my car needs to go.
@bonifartius @Moon Same with the argument that eating meat is killing the planet coming from people who don't grow food.

@thatguyoverthere @Moon the absolutism is the bullshit. people probably eat too much meat, but eating sone meat is a necessity if you want do agriculture on soil and in climates where only grass grows without using loads of artificial fertilizer.

@bonifartius @Moon I won't even say people eat too much meat (some may), but I do think the ways we farm could be improved to limit runoff and make it easier for the local environment to filter the waste. Smaller herds on grass instead of a feed lot would give us better (healthier) meat and be kinder to the planet.
