@McMongoose really two wolves for me. on one hand it's really getting annoying and pisses me off, on the other the two dead baby mice i found didn't deserve to die from dehydration without their mother while hellish noise is roaring.

in the end they don't do things to annoy me, it's just cozy and warm there. what helps is a liberal amount of extra hot chili powder, they really hate it. i just forgot to renew it, it loses it's hotness after a while.

@McMongoose theory is that chilis are hot so that they aren't eaten by mammals but only birds as birds are immune to their hotness. it should even be uncomfortable on mice feet, given that you can buy those "heat packs" you can stick to your back which essentially are bandages soaked in capsaicin.
