say no to seedbox and leech behind nat, there are albums that suddenly started downloading again after years of being idle

@xarvos @cnx problem is that torrent in germany on home connection will instantly cost you hundreds of euros for lawyers ;)

i usually let things seed for long time as long as space permits, especially when it took a long time to download for myself.

i do buy music as well if i like it. there most of the money goes to the artist instead of a streaming service - which started on torrented music afaik ;)

@bonifartius my question was not to you but to @cnx who said “say no to seedbox”, which implies seedbox is bad

the only downside is the storage is rented rather than owned, i guess, but otherwise that leads to more uptime which is good for seeding
