otoh i do think the gaza stuff really is too much this time though. we already have a weird left-right querfront over gaza.

in any case, all of these topics are of no day to day importance to most people in the west. covid, gaza, the "climate catastrophe", ukraine war, etc. have either no relevance or aren't actionable in any way for the common people in the west.

yet they are highly divisive and people are willing to throw away any social capital they have over these things.

The scamdemic and anthropocentric climate change are certainly a combination of psyop turned neo-proto-religion .. and they were intentionally pushed by some for specific interests.

Israel is a bit interesting. The Last American Vagabond had a supercut a few weeks back of Netanyahu backing wars in Libya, Syria, Iraq .. like literally the "7 countries" list Richard Clark talked about in the W Bush days. It could be argued every one of these wars starting with HW's Gulf war was a war for Israel. These wars served no purpose for American/Europe. If true, Israel hugely benefits the Military Industrial Complex™.

..but I still concede your point .. even that doesn't really affect the average American or Aussie or Indian or most people in the world. They are highly divisive topics that are being used to fracture the human mind.

MKUltra never really ended. It just kinda expanded to the entire human population with access to the bullshit we call news.

Yeah well. 1km from where I stand rn they threw out 180 years of neutrality over that landstrip in Donbass. (Yes I know but nobody cared in 2015 so why should I now except being pro new deals).
It will touch us in a few years definitely. The thousands of refugees more are another thing.

Day to day: 99% should not care. This I agree.

@CapitalB @Nazareno @djsumdog @Murray_N
i think they only can do these things because they work hard to keep the people divided over bullshit.

to stay in germany: they fabricate outrage about a political party, about ukraine, about gaza, about every fucking bullshit thing irrelevant to common people.

the things people _should_ be outraged about are completely different:

there _still_ is a substantial shortage for absolute standard medications (especially pediatric dosages!), in a country with a gigantic pharma industry. inflation is fucking everyone over. energy price is still half taxes even if it kills local industry and consumption. there still are the occasional socialism like shortages of stuff. the railway is fucked, as are autobahn and most of the other infrastructure.

i can't imagine that deep in their hearts the swiss or swedish people think giving up neutrality is wise.

@bonifartius @Nazareno @djsumdog @Murray_N

Those over 50.

The younger think since we are in P4P and in the middle of Europe neutrality is not needed anymore.
(But none is fond of military!)

I know more unvaxxed than neutral/mir isch gliich concerning 404 or gaza.

Sidenote: I explained to a Turk was a wedge issue is and he said I know, but I know too that you all here in this room understand why I think so and in the end it matter less than when we were threatened by our own state.
