hot take: the issues on ladybird were created by github profiles consisting of forks and private repositories but with the activity showing in the graph. it's almost as if these accounts were made to look organic. like the XZ accounts.
it's almost as if these issues were opened so that people are inclined to comment on them, forcing them to take a "side", later to be spun into "nazi" or "literal saint". about the usage of "they" as pronoun.
also a competing browser not controlled by big tech is killed off early.
this smells like bullshit by agencies.
@bonifartius
What happened?
I looked into the issues and found a suspicious "inclusivity" thread.
Are they trying to create drama to split the user/developer base?
Non-technical issues should be auto-closed.
@STP someone opened a one liner issue changing "he" into "they" in some documentation, which was closed.
now people are called all kinds of things, like "white supremacist" etc.
it's really tiresome. whatever happened to "fork if you don't like how it's run".
@bonifartius
I remember the tech world being filled with ESR-type libertarians.
How did they all become sissies and trannies?
How did the useless humanities types manage to play that joke on the supposedly more intelligent CS people? How did the tech world get to have zero immunity against their memetic poison?
