does anyone know a good tick repellent? favorably something natural. deet does work but i don't really want to put it on daily for multiple months.

best i found is lemon eucalyptus oil, i think i'll try that combined with coconut oil. i'm gonna smell like a cocktail xD
@bonifartius, even better if that does not repel ticks so thou'd also get a light squeeze of lime disease!

Ich schwör auf Zedan, aber ja, das musste auftragen.
Und, hab ich gehört, hilft Schwarzkümmelöl einzunehmen. Dann riechen wir auch, hab ich gelesen, für Zecken unangenehm.
@DCR @Czerion danke für die tipps! dieses jahr ists wirklich extrem mit den zecken, besonders den ganz kleinen.
beim auftragen gings mir eher um das DEET zeugs, was zwar ganz wunderbar funktioniert, aber halt synthetisch ist und nicht ganz unbedenklich. das will ich nicht jeden tag draufschmieren :)
ich hab noch gefunden, dass zitroneneukalyptusöl (in zedan ist das wohl auch drin) wohl helfen soll. das probier ich mal kombiniert mit kokosfett. für schwarzkümmel ists ja dieses jahr zu spät, aber ich probiers nächstes jahr mal :)
Also, Zedan hab ich auch im Bioladen gesehen, gibts in der Apotheke, riecht sehr gut (find ich) und ist, soweit ich weiß, wirklich unbedenklich (außer für Katzen, für die einige ätherische Öle darin leider giftig sind).
Naja, meine bleibt drinnen, doch Zedan würde auch bei Mücken im Schlafzimmer helfen...
Naja, ich nehms halt, wenn ich draußen bin.
@bonifartius, the kind for dogs isn't natural but it lasts for a month, but I think thou neither art hairy nor bath infrequently enough for it to work
