@bonifartius yeah, one has to reserve a half of his brain for remembering thousands of "short key" conbinations that may be of pianist virtuous level, and the other half of brain is busy with writing terrible configs and numerous extensions to make it brew coffee and play with a cat as well.

i didn't mean dantes inferno but the operating system named after it :P

some people redo the keybinds completely, i find them rather useable. elisp might be a matter of taste, but certainly better than vimscript. most things can be configured with the built-in customize mode.

what i _really_ was talking about, to come back to inferno-the-os, is that it's a relatively slim, portable execution environment. the abstractions are different, but it's similar in spirit.
