As much as I'd prefer people coming on fedi rather than an another honeypot I also know that some of them just don't want to get rid of their proprietary brain damage and will ask fedi to mimic proprietary features or behaviors that are socially unhealthy.

@mangeurdenuage yes. they just could hit the mute or block button. instead threads go full escalation with people clearly not going to agree.
a large brain damage is that people now expect services to not cost any money and still work at all time. if something breaks and the admin can't fix it instantly they blame free software and the admin. i for one have largely given up on this, with some rare exceptions. it's just no fun.
