@Rasta I don't know which upstate this is referring to, but there have been a number of cases of drag queens being caught with child pornography or being arrested for child molestation across the US and UK in recent years.

@Rasta Not disputing any of that. Any position where men are given influence and authority makes it so much easier for them to abuse. I'm merely annoyed at the implication that drag queens can do no wrong. The history of sex liberal activism is rife with abuse and pro-pedophilia sentiments.

Churches are all over the US and UK, and priests have been considered trustworthy authority figures for long, among most of society.

Drag queens have only recently become very popular. In a few circles, they are being revered to a weird degree now, almost becoming a sort of authority figure, and taboo to criticise. But in very low numbers, I would assume, compared to how many priests there are everywhere.

If every city had some kind of establishment where drag queens get to interact with children on the regular, I'd be worried to the same degree as with churches. In fact I might be worried more, since drag has inherently sexual aspects. Then again, priests have their own issues with sexuality. :blobcat-thinking:

Long story short, let's allow fewer strange men of all kinds to interact with kids. Whether they preach about some medieval sky fairy, or dress like a cartoonish sex clown.
