We received a lot of strong applications for our Senior Front-end role at @Mastodon but @inganomads and I would like to see more diverse candidates in our initial pool.
Do you know of any communities (forum, Slack, Discord, newsletter…) with a diverse audience and a focus on front-end development? Grateful for any recommendations.

telling everyone who already has applied that they have the wrong identity so their application is less worth than someones with the correct identity. who after this little announcement can now apply and be sure to have much less competition.
guess i'm just old fashioned, but that would be what i call shitty.
