if you live in western europe and say that you can't have kids because it's "too expensive":

very likely your spending is through the roof. likely because you "have to" live in an expensive city (all the cosmopolitan culture you don't get to see because you don't have money and are too tired!) and do constant consumption of garbage for dopamine kicks. spend less on few things of good quality that bring joy, like good coffee.

probably you also got brainwashed into not grabbing every last penny of state money (extracted from you via taxation) because "others need it more". even when you are entitled by laws, which you follow by the letter when they take freedom away from others and yourself.

if YOU don't take the money, it goes into bombing people around the globe to "defend democracy" and implementing things to make your own society even MORE shit.

that's the alternative.

the money doesn't go into helping the poor. certainly not into helping the poor of your own society like old people who worked their whole life or raised a family.

first thing the new german government talked about was axing unemployment benefits to save a few pennies while implementing limitless military spending.
