btw, my X still runs fine.
given how it went with the systemd coup d'etat attempt, someone will rip out the relevant parts and create a shim to run things under X if toolkits drop support for X.
the precious windows thinking they run under wayland will be rendered with tearing, they will be recorded, they will be focused.
YOU CAN'T STOP THE X 
@bonifartius Free software graphics drivers don't tear with Xorg btw.
@Suiseiseki well, i was joking about the wayland every frame is perfect meme. and i don't care about tearing, i want the maxium amount if frames possible. brrrrrrt!
