you are his friend, but his life it's not your responsibility. it's highly abusive what he is doing: you can be made day and night into listening to his stuff out of fear that you will be morally responsible. the only one responsible for a suicide is the person committing suicide.

legally spoken i'd call an ambulance. no need to get in legal trouble for not providing emergency help, as cynical as it seems.
