@ThatCrazyDude another tinfoil idea of mine is that crypro currencies were made into an "asset" on purpose. rather have some more people get rich than have anonymous means of wealth transfer for the masses. look at the people who run the exchanges, big spook vibes there. also near impossible to get the ones with anonymity preserving properties like monero now.
so the "bitcoin will save us" might well be just another way to milk this cow a bit longer, buying a bit more time until things go to shit.
The whole thing is sketchy and why I don't get involved. It's why I don't love stocks either. I know that there is money to be made but I don't like how the system is set up so I invest in things I like. I diversify a bit but mostly invest in real estate. It doesn't make as much but it's also way safer, has tax benefits and I can have someone else pay for my investment. It has its downsides like everything but it's the one I know and feel comfortable with.
@ThatCrazyDude @bonifartius
@CapitalB @ThatCrazyDude they did successfully replace torrents with streaming where things can made to go away easily!
@bonifartius you know, given the absence of the evidence to the contrary, I'll just assume that Satoshi Nakamoto is a code name for a CIA operative of some sort. And when you think about it, it tracks perfectly ;)
