many people on the left seem to have fried out their brains. detecting "dog whistles" and hidden fascist messaging everywhere. guess they just don't have the training of people interested in conspiracies for decades! sad!
I think there's a way to turn people crazy by sending them negative messaging, then reducing the volume of that messaging (or making it increasingly subtle) until it is imperceptible. As it reduces in amplitude, it approaches the noise floor and as it it becomes indistinguishable from noise, they become trained to pattern-match noise into negative messages.
