can you truly be a libertarian if you're technophobic - i.e., if you don't believe that unrestricted development and proliferation of technology will always benefit humanity?

@genmaicha maybe if everyone would have to accept the risks some technologies bring as personal responsibility, some things just wouldn't be used. currently the downsides are offloaded to the public.
