@scathach @bonifartius Mobile linux isn't really bad software wise. The main problem is hardware - there are very few devices on the market that are actually meant to run it, and do so decently. If you could just lobotomize any smartphone with it, like you can do with any PC, it would have pretty nice spot on the market.
@scathach UI wise sailfish is pretty good imo, unfortunately that's the proprietary bit ;)
@scathach @bonifartius its actually really frustrating because kde does have krunner, an application remarkably similar to my favorite launcher on android, kiss launcher but more powerful
I think the main reason mobile Linux is a dismal failure is the phosh and kde people are just making a cheap knockoff of Android instead of trying something new too
