@SuperDicq fwiw: we have two farmers unions here in germany, one big lobbyist group close to industrial farming and one which mainly represents small eco hippie farms and both say the things the government plans are bullshit.

@SuperDicq sure, but that is a systemic problem. killing small farms by taxing more is only intensifying this for the future. big industrialized farms have less problem with paying some more taxes.

my point is that the problem aren't the farmers it's the government who wants to rob them more..

@tyil good idea! i think something like this exists in most counties here in germany. adult education centers might also be a good place to look, especially in more rural areas.

my friendships did take a severe hit by the covid bullshit (and by life changing in general), but i met some nice people in a club who seem to be like-minded. most people are also pretty happy to see new faces!

it's a bit square but if you want to meet new people who you get along with, join a club about something interesting to you. at worst you can try a new hobby.
