it's interesting how often (and i'm damn late to the show!) i read from japanese artists that they did things specifically this way to deal with depressions and other mental problems. this reflects in how amazingly well most japanese things are able to evoke emotion in me, contrary to almost all western stuff which doesn't manage to do this anymore.

maybe the difference is the idea that things have a spirit? it's close to my own ideas and feelings, but not common in the west.

The lure of conveniently signing in to private digital services using a single official eID app is a trap. Overidentification will gradually erode our right to use digital services anonymously which currently keeps us safe from criminal activity, unauthorised disclosure, identity theft, stalking and other forms of abuse of personal data. The eID app will not allow for multiple, truly separate user profiles which vulnerable persons rely on.

The server-side code of the eID wallet will not have to be open source, meaning the public cannot know what the code actually does and if it is safe.

In view of all this, the new EU eID app will not be trustworthy and will fail to sufficiently encourage the development of digital and eGovernment services in Europe – much to the Pirates regret.“

IF YOU ARE AN EU CITIZEN READ THIS!!!!

The EU just approved a digital identity wallet. It is YOUR duty to REJECT this thing outright. AVOID the app, even if your workplace requires it. Get all of your friends and family to reject it. There needs to be a mass reject of this thing or Europe (and most likely, the rest of the world) is fucked.

@raucao @newstik the more i know about the west, the more it's clear everything is fake xD

@newstik By the way, it also seems like the author either doesn't know about the Bretton Woods system, or is choosing to misinform the reader intentionally, since the U.S. Dollar, and thus all Western currencies pegged to it, were convertible to gold at a fixed price, until Nixon unilaterally (and allegedly "temporarily") bailed on that in 1971.

These are not simple mistakes when someone chooses to construct arguments based on them.

@cjd @raucao @newstik it just didn't work anymore, war bills had to be paid and there was no better way to make everyone poorer without them noticing immediately.
The world is ruled by:

@mms They have been doing marketing about how they are a good privacy alternative but many people forgot how they allowed Microsoft tracking DDG users.

@jeffcliff most of this knocked on my ass was experienced well before the killer virus.
