@cjd Increase diary production and encourage milk consumption. (Women who consume more dairy products are more likely to have twins)

it just dawned on me that nearly all the positive woke memes are like "you are good, you are worthy, being xyz is great!". they talk and think about things in an intrinsic immutable way. it's a caste system, no way out and ones worth is decided by the parties central committee.
while the positive memes of "the right" are most often "you did great, even if you only did recognize your faults! you will do better tomorrow! LET'S FUCKING GOOOO!". so it's about actions. something one _can_ change.
@mangeurdenuage yes. they just could hit the mute or block button. instead threads go full escalation with people clearly not going to agree.
a large brain damage is that people now expect services to not cost any money and still work at all time. if something breaks and the admin can't fix it instantly they blame free software and the admin. i for one have largely given up on this, with some rare exceptions. it's just no fun.
Sometimes things are hard not because the creators are lazy to make it easy, or they don't want people to use their product.
Sometimes things are hard because to have more control, you have to know more, and knowing more is inherently difficult.
@nicemicro some problems are just hard. you can't reduce the solution further without building a solution for an entirely other, simpler, problem.
I was listening to an episode of @TechOverTeaShow with @BrodieOnLinux and the topic of how some #Linux users don't care about (or even against) Linux going mainstream.
I strongly disagree with the suggested psychological motivations, while those might be true for some.
I think the issue is, that if you want something to go mainstream, you need to compromise, and meet the lowest common denominator.
I use #ArchLinux because I don't want compromises. I want the best possible system for me.
this thread is a giant purity spiral xD
@PNS expected a moose running out or some other crash
Soave in the Veneto region of Verona, northern Italy, known above all for its Scaligeri Castle and for the typical wine that bears its name.
Under the main town’s door, Porta Verona, you can see many hanging grapes. This derives from an ancient custom. That of hanging the best grapes, called rece, to let them dry until Christmas.

@xianc78 early hugo was good but at one point they changed a bunch of things to be a tool for everything and that never ends well.
@sun that would involve people thinking about good interfaces (the software kind, not the UI kind) at the right places.
i think it might be a lost art by now.

don't only rely on my words, read what happy customers wrote about me: "10/10 would buy again", "top seller, great value", "wildly incorrect", "teil des problems", "without imagination", "Repeated provocation using copy/paste.", "if you take a dump in my mentions, I just might notice the smell", "log out and never login again", "Du redest wirr.", "My brother in Christ, this is such a ridiculously dumb statement that I will no longer entertain this silly conversation.", "Auf Derailing-Diskussionen habe ich keine Lust.
