to return to the original topic: the german union of public transportation workers says that there must be huge investment and subsidies now. otherwise service quality will be heavily degraded and workers will suffer heavily.

the 49€ ticket is just rushed and for show to improve the ratings of politians. it isn't a lasting solution under these conditions.
